Welcome - We always envisioned the Musical Gala as a way to entertain our community, and to say thank you to our donors for their support during the fundraising efforts.  Our goal was to host a concert that would feature our beautiful Grand Piano and showcase the wonderful musical talents of our Friendly Valley residents as well as other Los Angeles based musicians.  This beautiful piano represents months of hard work and dedication by the Friendly Valley Friends of Music committee, and generous financial support from you, our donors.  This Musical Gala is the first of many productions that the Friends of Music plans to host in the years to come.  We believe music has the power to inspire and bring people together, and we hope that this event does just that.  Tonight, we are proud to present exceptional works of classical, jazz and pop composers from around the world featuring our Yamaha C3 Grand Piano.  Throughout the program, you will have the opportunity to enjoy a variety of performances, including piano solos, Flute/Piano duet, Classical Guitar, and Jazz quartet.  Thank you for supporting the Friendly Valley Friends of Music.  We are pleased that you have joined us, and we hope you enjoy the musical performances.  Sincerely,  Daria C.
